General Interest

Hildsvin Dark Age re-enactment Group
Re-enactors are always good for photographs and I've been involved with Hildsvin as well as it's parent organisation, The Vikings, since taking some photographs at the annual Battle of Hastings event. The Vikings are a registered charity and under their auspices, Hildsvin mount public events. They also take on School visits as part of the educational curriculum.
Mare & Foal
I've spent many happy evenings and comfortable Sunday lunchtimes here with friends. What's to say about a pub you regard as your local but have to travel 15 miles to get to? Good beer, good food and a Landlord with attitude! What more can you want?
Café de Paris
A Somerset based business run by Bryn Bowles that produces the best & most versatile Café de Paris butters I have ever tried. This is a gourmet experience that surpasses the expansion of your waistline and it's not expensive.
